Tampico - Provides a medium sweeping or scrubbing action. Durable, resistant to heat, acids, and alkali. Can be used for wet or dry applications. Texture varies fro soft to medium; fiber holds liquids well, softens when wet, and can be used alone or blended with other materials.

Nylex - Very durable. Resistant to most acids and alkalis. Can be used near high tempratures and resists abrasion. Unlike nylon, Nylex is extremely soft and delicate, safe to use on any surface.
